Dr Ruth Wood

Dr Ruth Wood is a Lecturer in Environment and Climate Change and a Research Fellow with the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research. Her research interests include developing and applying emissions and energy accounting methods to different sectors and spatial scales; the development of scenario tools for use in interdisciplinary projects; the relationship between society and infrastructure and its effect on both resource demand and resilience to future climate change impacts.

Dr Paul Gilbert

Dr Paul Gilbert is a lecturer in climate change, sustainability and project management within the School of Mechanical Aerospace and Civil Engineering at the University of Manchester. He is a member of Tyndall Manchester within the international Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research and contributes to undergraduate/postgraduate teaching on carbon management, sustainable waste management and project management. Paul joined the University of Manchester in 2009 as a Research Associate on the EPSRC SuperGen Bioenergy Consortium.

Mr Michael Traut

Following completion of my PhD at Tyndall Manchester (supervisors: Alice Bows-Larkin and Ruth Wood), I am now an EPSRC Doctoral Prize fellow in the same group. My research focusses on shipping and climate change, and monitoring and quantifying emissions, and on mitigation technologies in the shipping sector. I am associated with the EPSRC-funded consortium proejct Shipping in Changing Climates (SCC) as well as the project Fleet Suite.
