A central theme in my research is Philosophy of Religion, in particular religious language. I am author of Reading Philosohy of Religion with Graham Oppy (Monash) for Wiley-Blackwell (2010) and I recently published Religious Language with Palgrave Macmillan (2013) .

Prof Daniel Rigby

I have broad research interests but mainly focus on the relationships between economy, agriculture and the environment. 
A great deal of my recent work has involved choice and choice experiments. This has led to growing interest in psychology, economics and choice and also choice and plagiarism within Higher Education.

I have completed an M.A. in cognitive psychology at Tel Aviv University, Israel, where I focused on memory mechanisms and specifically the distinction between short- and long-term memory. My Ph.D. work with Morris Moscovitch at the University of Toronto focused on emotional memory, specifically on cognitive mediators for enhanced memory for emotional material.

Dr Alison Browne

Alison has a number of active and interdisciplinary research projects on everyday practice and sustainable consumption; dirt, cleanliness and freshness; and the governance of water resources, drought, and climate change adaptation. In previous research projects she explored the governance of large scale resource development (e.g., agriculture, NRM, water infrastructure, mining) using 'environmentality', 'risk' and 'mega-project paradox' frameworks.
