Office for Social Responsibility

Social responsibility describes the way we are making a difference to the social and economic well-being of our communities through our teaching, research and public events and activities. Social responsibility is one of our three core strategic goals in our Manchester 2020 strategy, sitting equally alongside our commitments to world-class research and outstanding learning and student experience.

We have committed to pursuing change across five social responsibility priorities:

Directorate for the Student Experience

The Directorate for the Student Experience (DSE) was established in January 2011 to facilitate a joined up approach to the delivery of services to students throughout the student lifecycle and to provide leadership to enhance the student experience.

The Directorate is underpinned by a set of core values in support of the University's strategic goals which are intended to drive creation of excellence for every student through partnership.
