One of the University's growing number of Sustainability Enthusiasts. Find out more about the initiativeĀ here.

I've been working in research administration for most of the 13 years since joining the University. In 2001, I started at UMIST at the newly established Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, prior to the 2004 merger. This was a welcome change after being a Team Leader in a plastics technology company running an extremely busy customer services department. It also came near the end of completing both an Open University Degree in Environmental Sciences and a Diploma in pollution Control. I have a great work-ethic and enjoy getting satisfaction from a good day's work. I'm very much values-driven and believe we could all do more to help others.
